How syncing with the Google Sheet works
Your edits save themselves. A few seconds after you stop typing, this page pushes to the Sheet on its own — you do not need to click anything.
  • ☁ Push is for a deliberate save point. It writes straight away and adds a timestamped row to the Sheet's History tab, which the automatic saves do not — so History stays a record of the versions you meant to keep. Also use it to retry after a failure.
  • ☁ Pull brings in changes made in the Sheet itself — the day rates and headline figures on its Inputs tab. Nothing watches for those, so pull when someone tells you they have changed something there. Your current figures are backed up first.
The ☁ button says where things stand:
  • ☁ Push — nothing pending
  • ☁ … — saving now
  • ☁ ✓ Push — saved to the Sheet
  • ☁ ⚠ Push — failed. Usually the push token: this page can read the Sheet but only write to it if you opened it with an editor link
  • ☁ ⧗ Push — someone changed the Sheet since this page last read it. Pull first. Clicking Push again instead overwrites their change deliberately, so only do that if you know what you are discarding
